Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team From November 10th - December 24th. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional guest services. This role involves supporting the catering team in delivering high-quality food and service at various events, ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established standards. Always ensuring cleanliness and organisation. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, following all health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred, with a background in restaurant or hotel settings being advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team. A passion for culinary arts and guest services. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
