Are you friendly, reliable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? DN Colleges Group is seeking a

Catering Assistant

to join our on-site catering team. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring our students, staff and visitors enjoy a welcoming and professional catering experience.

Actual Salary: 13,428.86 per annum



Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 14:00pm) / 25 hours per week / 35 weeks in a year



Essential Criteria



Relevant Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to work towards). Experience in a similar catering or customer service role. Experience of food preparation, cooking and service. Good communication and timekeeping skills. Friendly, professional manner and a smart appearance.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in preparing food, snacks and drinks, including baking. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas. Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers. Report customer feedback and complaints to the Catering Manager. Support the wider Estates and Facilities team as needed. Work flexibly across college sites and contribute to team success. Undertake mandatory training and participate in staff development. Support students on placement within the catering area.

The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
