About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and hardworking
School Catering Assistant
to join our busy kitchen team. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the school kitchen.Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation and serving of food Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and hygienic Operating basic kitchen equipment safely Setting up and clearing away before and after service Following food safety and hygiene guidelines Supporting the catering manager and wider team as required
About You
Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work as part of a team Good communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Previous catering or food-handling experience is an advantage, but training can be provided
