We have a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about catering who loves a varied role and wants to join our team at Buckmore Park!

As a key player in our small team, you'll work alongside the Sales Team and Catering Department to ensure our catering and cafe operations meet the highest standards in safety, customer experience, and efficiency.

From serving sandwiches and burgers to catering for 200-guest corporate events, this fast-paced role demands quick thinking, sound decision-making, and confident action. You'll interact directly with customers, showing diplomacy and professionalism while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities



Team Leadership

Organise, lead and motivate the catering team Plan and oversee staff shifts and rotas Monitor spending on staff hours and stock Maintain up-to-date staff training Ensure cafe cleanliness and high operational standards
Business Management

Work with senior management to hit all KPIs (financials, food quality, team performance) Maintain financial and administrative records Budget planning and forecasting Ensure compliance with fire, licensing, and employment regulations Maximise sales and meet profit targets Develop attractive pricing structures for food and beverages Collaborate with sales team on customer catering quotes
Food Operations

Confidently cook and present diverse meals and short orders Organise corporate menus (buffets, BBQs, bespoke catering) Order produce, ideally from local suppliers Manage food and beverage provision and stock levels Monitor product and service quality Creative menu planning Strictly observe health and safety regulations Maintain excellent kitchen and cafe standards
Customer Service

Deliver and instil excellent customer service across the team Strong written and oral communication with customers and staff Understand customer needs and go the extra mile

Essential Requirements



? Previous catering management experience (managing staff, cooking, operations)
? Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (minimum)
? Ability to work weekends, early/late shifts including evenings and Bank Holidays
? Excellent food presentation, cooking and cleaning skills
? Strong communication skills
? Ability to work in fast-paced environments to tight deadlines
? Full UK driving licence (due to location and working hours)

Desirable



Computer/IT literate (many of our systems are digital) Previous hospitality/leisure industry experience

Please note: Buckmore Park operates 7 days a week, between 7:00am - 10:00pm throughout the year, so flexibility is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
