We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, food preparation, and team management. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety standards are met while creating a welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

7 days a week operation 9 to 6 pm / saturday till 8 pm

5 days shift - 35 to 40 hrs on average

Responsibilities

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality Manage food preparation and production processes, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations Lead and motivate a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels Train new employees in cafe procedures, including cooking techniques and customer service practices Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including kitchen areas and dining spaces Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or cafe setting Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous Barista experience is a plus, particularly in coffee preparation and service Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills to engage with both staff and customers
