Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to oversee the operations in our cafe, bar and event catering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively, ensuring high standards of service and food safety are maintained at all times.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of food services, ensuring quality and efficiency. Manage food preparation and production processes to maintain high standards. Supervise and train staff in food safety practices, cooking techniques, and customer service. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients while considering customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Foster a positive working environment through effective team management and leadership. Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences within the bar, cafe and events setting.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Previous experience in leading a team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is crucial. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
