We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee the planning, organisation, and delivery of catering services for a diverse range of events and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure food safety standards are met, and create memorable dining experiences across various settings including corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings.
Duties
Lead and supervise the catering team to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Plan menus in collaboration with clients, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
Manage kitchen operations, including food safety compliance, Allergen controls, stock control, and equipment maintenance.
Control Food costs
Provide hospitality to client as requested
Organise staffing schedules
Maintain excellent customer relations by understanding client needs and delivering tailored catering solutions.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to during food handling and service.
Monitor event setups, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items.
Train staff members on service standards, food safety procedures, and culinary techniques.

Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
Supervising experience with team management capabilities.
Strong background in culinary arts with knowledge of food safety standards.
Previous experience in school catering preferred.
Excellent organisational skills
Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and maintaining high service standards.
Knowledge of food production processes, serving techniques, and hospitality operations.
Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are advantageous.

Pay: 15.00 per hour
