Catering Project Support Worker



Salary: 22,995 (FTE)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Between 21 to 35 hours per week

Location: Stockport

Responsible to: Team Coordinator

Our projects run Monday to Friday with

no

weekend or evening work required. Successful candidates can choose to be contracted to work 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Working patterns can be agreed with the right candidate based on their preference and business needs.

Role Purpose:



As a Catering Project Support Worker, you will encourage and enable neurodiverse individuals to participate in a wide range of activities, supporting their personal goals and promoting independence. You will assist in the day-to-day running of the cafe, working with the cafe supervisor or independently running the cafe to provide a high-quality service to our valued customers and clients. You'll bring energy, creativity, and flexibility to help clients engage, learn, and thrive in safe and inclusive environments. This role will be particularly suitable for individuals who have creative passions and would like to share them with others.

Key Responsibilities:



Support individuals to access and enjoy a variety of activities, from creative arts to sports, community projects, and independent living skills.

Encourage and motivate clients to try new experiences, build confidence, and achieve personal goals.

You will need to comply with food hygiene regulations, ensuring that the cafe and all public areas (including toilets) within are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that all paperwork is completed accurately, within the desired timeframe

Provide respectful and dignified support, including personal care when required.

Administer medication and respond appropriately to any medical or health concerns.

Respond calmly and effectively to support clients who follow a positive behaviour support plan following training and guidance.

Work both independently (lone working) with small groups or collaboratively in larger team settings to deliver planned sessions and engaging activities to our clients.

Travel to and between project sites across Stockport as required.

You will be required to prepare food and beverages, providing high quality customer care and professionalism

Occasionally, you may be required to travel to our projects outside Stockport.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and paperwork, ensuring deadlines are met.

Build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure clients' needs are understood and supported.

Deliver excellent customer service in line with Pure Innovations' values.

To undertake and contribute to appropriate training.

To participate in conferences, courses and training events as required.

To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and service developments and to adhere to all appropriate policies, procedures and guidelines.

Essential:

You must have a high standard of personal hygiene and follow uniform guidelines.

Desirable:



Experience of working with neurodiverse individuals or in a support role.

Understanding of safeguarding and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.

Knowledge in food hygiene regulations
