Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and professional caterer to join our team. This position is for Sundays only starting at 7am until 2pm. Ascot High Street has a local train station and the bakery is walking distance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in catering environments. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality food for the shop including bacon rolls & sandwiches, varies sandwiches, preparing chickens for fillings, cooking the eggs and onions and sausages as well as baking off the pasties & Sausage rolls. ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness within the kitchen & prep area.

Responsibilities



Prepare and organise food items according, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner Assist with setting up catering stations, including condiments and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas throughout the day Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver seamless service Restock supplies as needed during day to ensure smooth operations Handle customer requests professionally, providing excellent customer services at all times

Skills



Proven experience in hospitality or catering roles, ideally within a restaurant or cafe environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Skilled in food preparation, presentation, and serving techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Friendly, approachable demeanour with a focus on delivering exceptional guest services Prior experience in culinary roles or hotel service is highly desirable
