Job Description

Catering supervisor required to work within catering outlets on Llandarcy Park.

This role involves joining a team of staff supervising a busy student cafe and onsite bar and restaurant.

We seek an experienced and dynamic Catering Supervisor with kitchen experience to oversee our catering operations, including both kitchen and bar services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of ou bar and catering outlets, supervising a small team, maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties will require cooking and preparation of meals in both our onsite bar and restaurant and Sports cafe, undertaking all aspects of kitchen and bar duties including cash handling, stock ordering/control, complying with all food hygiene/ HACCP paperwork and requirements, and implementation of standards and procedures.

Level 2 food hygiene certificate required.

The role will be on a 5 day rota system Monday-Sunday.

Applicant MUST be available for weekends as restaurant operational hours are Thursday - Sunday 4.30pm - 11pm

Job Duties: Prepare all food items as directed in a timely manner, Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards, Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment, Restock items as needed throughout the shift, Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards Management of food hygiene documentation
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
