We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Team Leader to oversee and coordinate catering operations within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising catering staff, managing food preparation and presentation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations. The Catering Team Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless event execution and maintaining high-quality service standards across all catering functions.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise catering staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure team efficiency and professionalism. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and delivery for catering events, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client specifications. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize operational efficiency. Operate order processing, cash handling, and billing accuracy. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service during events. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all catering activities. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for catering operations. Supervise shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels during events and peak times. Support staff training initiatives focused on culinary skills, customer service excellence, and safety procedures. Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the company's reputation for outstanding service.

Qualifications



Proven experience in food service management, including supervising teams in casual dining, fine dining, or banquet settings. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients. Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and cost management within a catering or restaurant environment is a plus. Pay: From 12.23 per hour
