We currently have a vacancy for an experienced drainage engineer to join our drainage team, to carry out drainage works throughout Lancashire and surrounding areas.

This position is long-term career opportunity, for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person and will involve resolving day to day drainage issues, operating a van pack jetting unit, carrying out CCTV drainage surveys using a Mini-Cam Solo Pro+ with WinCan software, undertaking and identifying minor external remedial works, identifying and resolving issues at both residential and commercial sites.

Responsible for;

Carry out and complete CCTV drain surveys, producing wincan reports and plotting accurate drainage maps to identify blockages, defects, and structural issues

Operate and maintain CCTV survey equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostics.

Previous experience in external drain repairs, patch / drain lining.

Planned Preventative Maintenance Programs (PPMS)

To perform the safe and professional operation of the JetVac and gully wagons and complete the cleaning of small and large diameter pipes and various structures

To work with JetVac technology to assist in removing blockages, sewage, grease, debris and silt from various waterways and vacuuming up material

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain CCTV survey equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostics.
Prepare detailed survey reports and recommendations using industry-standard software.

Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure clear communication of findings and proposed solutions. Adhere to health and safety regulations on all job site

Key Skills

Minimum of 1 years previous experience in the drainage industry. Excellent customer service and communication skills Certification to carry out High pressure water jetting Confined Space Certificate First Aid Trained Traffic Management Certificate CSCS Card Possess a good understanding of onsite health and safety. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Able to work flexible hours when required.
