This role will be responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at the site based control room. To provide a proactive and effective security over watch of the buildings and public realm. To assist the security team in and around the building watching the perimeter of the Estate. Primary function is to detect, deny, deter, delay, and report all suspicious behaviour and activity to mitigate criminal damage, crime, risk, and poor behaviour
About the Role:
As a CCTV Officer, you will be responsible for:
Manage contractor movement and be aware of work permits including lone worker supervision
Produce daily security reports as directed, always keep notes and relay messages clearly.
Communicate and co-ordinate through chain of command both upwards and downwards
Maintain a secure and comprehensive contacts list for all departmental personnel
Manage, mitigate and when required investigate all incidents including gathering electronic evidence
Produce all operational documentation in an accurate and compliant format. Transmit all documents and
Information in a timely secure manner using the cascade process, incident reports submitted within 2 hours

What we are looking for:
Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a control room environment
Satisfactorily always meet and exceed the required standards.
Be trained at all building control rooms to ensure best practice and resilience is maintained
Deal with visitors to the security control room providing them with a personal service and guidance
Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with security surveillance and access control systems
SIA - CCTV licence
