Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CDM Advisor / Principal Designer to join our company and work as part of a multi disciplinary team delivering successful construction projects in various sectors across the UK and Ireland.

Previous Experience / Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

: Completion of either the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or the National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.

Professional Memberships

: Must be at least a Technician Member of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or an Incorporated Member of APS (IMaPS).

Essential Experience

: Proven experience as a Principal Designer and Client CDM Adviser under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Driving Requirements

: Possession of a full clean driving license and own vehicle.

Site Inspection Experience

: Demonstrable experience in conducting Construction Site Health and Safety Inspections and providing advice.

Health & Safety Management

: Extensive knowledge and experience in Construction Health and Safety Management.

Key Responsibilities of the CDM Advisor Role:

Service Delivery

: Provide CDM advisory and Principal Designer services across various projects and sectors on a daily basis.

Travel

: Conduct site inspections and Health & Safety Audits across the UK.

Documentation

: Compile Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and prepare/review key CDM documents.

Risk Management

: Perform design risk reviews and apply CDM and Health & Safety knowledge to ensure compliance and promote positive changes.

Support

: Assist duty holders in fulfilling their legal responsibilities on traditional and design & build projects.

Reporting

: Ensure upward reporting to meet client expectations.

Policy Development

: Maintain and develop the company's Health & Safety policies.

The role will predominately be office based, to best deliver our combined team approach and allow for individual and team development, with elements of home working and site visits / inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
