We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Proficient in cooking methods, presentation techniques, and flavour profiles. Extensive kitchen experience, preferably within a restaurant setting. Culinary experience that showcases creativity and attention to detail. Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the culinary industry.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
