Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in menu planning, including the development of new recipes and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing teams. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.
