Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and best practices. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership abilities, with a passion for fostering a positive work environment. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
