Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in food preparation and cooking. As a CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu specifications. Manage and oversee the daily operations of your designated kitchen section. Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely meal preparation. Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests. Previous experience serving customers is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
