Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our small dynamic kitchen team at Thirteen in Parkstone, Poole. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection, adhering to our standards of food safety and presentation. Duties

Managing any given section to the required standards Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service of dishes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food is served Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols

Experience

Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a collaborative environment Visit our Instagram @thirteenrestaurant to see pictures of food and prep
The salary will be 25,500 per annum. Based on a 40 hour week + share of the gratuities.
