We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
Maintain food safety standards and adhere to hygiene regulations at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the head chef
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
Experience
Proven experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant environment
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment is essential
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques and cuisines
