Job Title: Central Kitchen Manager
Details of duties:
Organizes, prepares and directs food preparationin batch amounts for onsite service or deliveryo Motivates and creates a positive environment for our team and customers o Accurately manages kitchen rotas and supervises kitchen staffo Prepares and delivers effective and ongoingsanitation training and?ensures staffcompliance with sanitation standardso Assumes responsibility for ordering, receiving, and preservation of foodstuffs and othersupplies?o Regularly reviews product quality and researchesnew vendors, checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limito Plans and updates menu from time to time to satisfy customer needs?
Salary and weekly working hours:
GBP 38000-40000 Gross Salary per year depending on experience based on a weekly working hour of 37.5
Skills, experience and qualifications required for the job:
Have a keen interest in Chinese food and cultureo Experience and knowledge in food preparation and food hygiene requirementso Strong leadership, motivational and people skillso Experience in a management role with proven customer service and employee management experience is preferredo Acute financial management skillso Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environmento Be able to engage with fellow kitchen staff members and build a friendly rapporto The ability to communicate in both English and Chinese is preferred as the candidate is expected to communicate regularly with Chinese-speaking kitchen staff, suppliers and customers
