Job Advert Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Central Referral Unit Officer in Criminal Investigation Department.

What you will be doing?




To provide clerical support for the Public Protection Unit. To be the liaison point with internal and external agencies. To maintain records and provide statistical information.

To ensure all police information is processed for a policing purpose in accordance with legislation and guidance. To enter and retrieve information using local and national police systems to ensure that records are being processed accurately, proportionately and in a timely manner, in accordance with local and national legislative requirements. To search for and retrieve all information held on both local and national police systems and assess its relevance to Dyfed Powys Police Public Protection investigations and enquiries this includes PND, PNC and VISOR. To provide the relevant information to supervising officers and record each stage of the process.
