Centre Manager, Centre for Business Taxation (CBT)

Grade 7: \xc2\xa336,024 - \xc2\xa344,263 per annum

Fixed-term post, initially for 2 years

The Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation (CBT) is a leading independent, interdisciplinary research centre that undertakes a broad research programme related to business taxation, including the impact of taxes on firm behaviour and the welfare effects of such behaviour, and the design of taxation and fiscal policy. We are looking for a Centre Manager, who will line manage the CBT administrative team, provide full administrative support to the Director, organise and manage events, monitor the Centre\'s financial position, co-ordinate support for the research fellows, develop and manage day to day relationships with external funders, and help manage the day-to-day relationships with external parties. This role is accountable to the Director of the Centre and operates at the highest level of responsibility.

It is essential for the postholder to develop a good understanding of the role of the CBT, its audiences, the roles within the CBT team, and oversee the CBT\'s reach and connections with the Director.

The postholder will line manage an 0.4 FTE member of staff who works in the areas of events, administration and communications.

The post offers the opportunity for varied work across a range of skill sets in supporting a research centre within the University.
