The CEP Business Execution lead is responsible for accomplishing results and drives the overall administrative activities of the business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and promote business ties with senior leaders across key businesses, regions, and support functions
Represent the Markets Business in forums / committees as required
Facilitate Senior Management engagement in the decision-making process where appropriate
Address operational queries from and to desks and act as point of contact for local functional partners (Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, etc)
Drive change management, including business and regulatory initiatives.
Platform Management, including financials monitoring, planning, technology stack, continuity of business, etc
Establish and govern Risk and Controls across the business
Identify opportunities to optimize costs, propose initiatives and lead creation of direct expense plans in partnership with internal functions and teams
Qualifications:
Proven experience in financial services
Prior experience in a business management or in-business risk & control role required
Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of the financial services industry
Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
