Cairns Homes is a high end residential property developer building in desirable locations, with distinctive architecture and unsparing attention to detail. We now have an immediate opening for an experienced ceramic floor and wall tiler to join our dedicated team in Nottinghamshire.

You will be setting high quality Porcelanosa and Vogue Ceramics tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, en-suites, hallways, always to a professional finish.

Duties

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precision in alignment and design. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives as necessary. Set tiles in accordance with design plans, ensuring proper spacing and alignment. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and layouts. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure cohesive project execution. Perform finishing tasks such as grouting, sealing, and cleaning the installed tiles. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the duration of the project.

Skills

Proven experience as a Tiler Strong knowledge of different types of tiles and installation techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Valid CSCS card Own transport
