We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Auditor to join our certification team.
We are particularly interested in individuals that have been involved in, Aquaculture, Wild capture fisheries, Agriculture (Livestock and Arable), Food Safety, Forestry, Textiles, Tourism, Social Compliance, Biofuels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating compliance with specific industry standards and internal procedures, ensuring the highest quality of product, services and processes are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining excellence in their sector specific third-party certifications. The Auditor will play a vital part in safeguarding the third-party assurance and certification schemes and helping organisations to recognise and be recognised for good practices and maintaining standards.
Duties
Conduct thorough audits of processes, products, and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards and other relevant regulations.
Analyse data collected during audits to identify trends, deviations, and areas requiring corrective action.
Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings, recommendations, and corrective measures.
Collaborate with departments to implement improvements based on audit outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of all audits performed, including follow-up actions and verification checks on internal databases.
Assist in developing audit plans and schedules aligned with organisational objectives.
Participate in training sessions related to quality assurance standards and procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights derived from audit analysis.
Skills
Professional level English language
Proven experience or knowledge of auditing principles and specific sector standards.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly.
