We're looking for a passionate and talented

CFD Engineer

to join our dynamic Computational Fluid Dynamics group at the forefront of Formula One innovation.

As a CFD Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing cutting-edge CFD methods and automation processes, supporting our aerodynamicists across a range of high-impact correlation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your skills will directly contribute to our goal of consistently being a top-three team in the FIA Constructors' Championship.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance CFD processes and applications, including programming (Python). Update CFD baselines following aero group wind tunnel sessions and refine process best practices. Support aero CFD projects, focusing on correlation with wind tunnel and track data. Provide analysis and technical support to the Aerodynamics department. Transform ideas into innovative, practical solutions. Contribute to departmental projects and attend key meetings. Work proactively and collaboratively, adhering to company standards and structures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Degree in Aerodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. Strong background in CFD development, with knowledge of aerodynamics and heat transfer. Proficient in Python programming. Experience with 3D CAD systems (preferably CATIA), mesh generation, and post-processing. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated, positive, and driven, with the ability to work under pressure. Team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required. Experience in a Formula One environment is a plus.
