Change Communications Lead




Salary from 42,679 to 51,000 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 54,730 pa inclusive of London allowance







LSE is committed to improving the experience of its diverse internal community. The Change Communications Lead (Education and Student Experience) will play a central role in engaging with teams across LSE to help map, coordinate and enhance communications activity to advance LSE's strategy and support staff and students.





The main duties and responsibilities of the post will focus on internal communications and engagement relating to the delivery of LSE's strategic vision. The post holder will provide communications leadership and direction, primarily across the LSE Education and Student Experience (ESE) strand of the strategy to guide strategic communications and change activity in this area.





Based within the vibrant Communications Division, they will work with a range of stakeholders and partners from across the School including project teams, School departments, divisions and services. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management to shape and deliver the portfolio communications strategy, drawing on relationships and insight from colleagues who are delivering the portfolio across LSE, as well as student and staff communication teams.






Key elements of this role include providing advice and guidance on effective communications planning, coordination and channel management. The postholder will take a confident and creative approach to content production that ensures insight and audience-led approaches to empower local delivery and embed two-way communication practices. They will also look across the wider LSE change landscape and ensure the ESE portfolio is communicated in this wider context.

The ability to influence senior stakeholders and build effective working relationships with them, in order to coordinate and meet deadlines Demonstrable ability to translate complex information for wide audiences Experience in planning, delivering and monitoring communications activities across multiple workstreams or large and complex programmes A motivated and enthusiastic approach to change communications and the value it adds
