Hughes is a family-run business, established in 1921 and we're looking for an organised and efficient individual who loves working as part of a team and wants to make a difference and contribute towards the success of our ecommerce department and the wider businesses goals and aspirations.
Admin - Channel Support is responsible for providing support to the Channel Managers with administrative tasks that derive from Hughes.co.uk and marketplaces, including but not limited to eBay, Amazon, Tesco and Onbuy.
Reporting to our eCommerce team leader and working closely with the wider ecommerce team.
What does the role include
Assist the ecommerce Channel Managers with administrative tasks.
Ensuring accuracy of listings across platforms
Ensure all administration procedures, as required by the company, are completed accurately and on time.
Project a professional image when dealing with face-to-face or telephone enquires
Provide cover in the absence of the Channel Manager
As required assist with the completion of other administrative tasks within the department
What skills and experience are required?
Previous Administrative experience
Ideally, you'll have experience within e-commerce but not essential
Experience working in retail is desirable but not essential
Flexibility when business needs and expectations change
Listening and learning from co-workers to understand our processes and systems
Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise a high-volume workload and work to deadlines
Ability to maintain a varied and demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
A self-starter with lots of enthusiasm
Creative approach to problem-solving, who loves working within a team
Someone with a high level of attention to detail
