We are calling experienced fundraisers to join our organisation's development team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in cultivating relationships with donors, organising fundraising campaigns, and promoting our client's mission to the wider community. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in marketing, relationship management, and customer service to make a meaningful impact through effective fundraising strategies. The role is paid and suitable for both experienced professionals and aspiring fundraisers eager to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to meet our clients organisational goals through Home, Business & Leisure environments to maximise exposure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
Manage donor databases using CRM software, ensuring accurate records of interactions and contributions
Organise and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach programmes
Engage with the community through face 2 face home visits, businesses and community events
Create compelling marketing interactions to promote fundraising initiatives across various channels
Provide excellent customer service to supporters, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximise outreach efforts
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities, preparing reports for senior management
Qualifications
Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or relationship management roles
Strong knowledge of CRM software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Ability to build lasting relationships with the public.
Knowledge of public relations strategies.
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanour
Organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
