This position requires strong relationship management skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. The successful applicant will have experience in public relations and customer service, ensuring that our fundraising efforts resonate with the community and potential donors.
Duties
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet organisational goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
Utilise Raiser's Edge software for tracking donations, managing donor information, and generating reports.
Conduct market research to identify potential funding opportunities and trends within the fundraising landscape.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials that highlight fundraising initiatives.
Organise fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities to maximise participation and donations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from donors and stakeholders promptly and professionally.
Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders to communicate progress towards fundraising goals.
Requirements
Proven experience in fundraising or a related field, with a strong understanding of relationship management principles.
Proficiency in Raiser's Edge software or similar donor management systems is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Experience in public relations or marketing is advantageous, along with a solid background in customer service.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to achieving results in a team-oriented environment.
