Overview


We are seeking passionate and dynamic Fundraisers to join our organisation, fundraising for a number of high-profile and well known UK charities. The successful candidates will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support through regular, long-term donations. The positions offer exciting opportunities to make meaningful impact by engaging with the community and fostering strong relationships to advance our missions. The ideal applicants will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience in fundraising activities. We offer a generous hourly rate, plus guaranteed commission

Responsibilities



Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organisational goals Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners Manage donor databases using CRM software, including 'Raiser's Edge', ensuring accurate records of interactions and contributions Organise fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach programmes to maximise engagement and donations Create compelling marketing materials and communications to promote fundraising initiatives Engage with the public through presentations, social media, and community events to raise awareness of organisational objectives Provide exceptional customer service to donors and supporters, ensuring a positive experience at all touchpoints Monitor and report on fundraising performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Qualifications



Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or relationship management within a non-profit or charitable organisation Strong knowledge of CRM software Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively manage relationships Familiarity with public relations strategies and community engagement techniques Experience in event planning and execution is desirable Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously A proactive approach with strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of fundraising regulations and ethical standards is advantageous
