Are you a creative, organised, and passionate fundraiser who loves bringing people together for a good cause?
Children in Distress is seeking a talented Fundraising and Events Manager to lead our fundraising strategy and deliver inspiring events that make a real impact for children, families, and communities across the UK and Romania.
About Us
Children in Distress is a UK-registered charity with a rich legacy of supporting vulnerable children and families. From our beginnings in 1990 responding to the humanitarian crisis in Romania, we now provide strategic grant funding to grassroots organisations across the UK and Romania -- helping children flourish through access to wellbeing support, education, work and life skills, and strong community connections.
We're proud of our legacy project in Romania, Casa Maria -- a specialist family-style home for children with complex needs -- and we're now expanding our impact through new UK grant programmes in Hull, West Yorkshire, London, and Birmingham.
