The Fundraising and Events Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering a sustainable fundraising strategy to grow income and support the organisation's mission.

This role will lead on planning, coordinating, and executing a calendar of fundraising and community engagement events, nurturing relationships with donors, supporters, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy and Delivery
Develop, implement and evaluate an annual fundraising plan aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
Identify new opportunities and funding streams including individual giving, corporate sponsorships, grants, and community fundraising.
Manage donor stewardship strategies to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat giving.
Monitor income against targets and provide regular performance reports to senior management and trustees.
Events Management
Plan and deliver a diverse range of fundraising events (e.g., gala dinners, community events, awareness campaigns).
Oversee logistics, budgeting, risk assessments, and compliance for all events.
Work with external suppliers, venues, and volunteers to ensure high-quality, successful events.
Evaluate events and campaigns, capturing lessons learned to inform future planning.
Marketing and Communications
Work with the Marketing team to develop compelling fundraising campaigns and promotional materials.
Ensure consistent and engaging messaging across all platforms and supporter touchpoints.
Build the charity's presence at community events and through partnerships with local businesses and stakeholders.
Team and Volunteer Management
Recruit, support, and manage event volunteers, providing training where necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues across the team to maximise cross-functional support for fundraising initiatives.
Person Specification
Essential
Proven experience in fundraising and event management within the charity or nonprofit sector.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for relationship-building.
Budget management and reporting experience.
Creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with a passion for charitable work.
Desirable
Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, Fundraising Regulator Code).
Experience with CRM or fundraising databases.
Familiarity with digital fundraising platforms and social media campaigns.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle may be beneficial.

Pay: 21,000.00-24,000.00 per year
