An exciting opportunity for an experience fundraiser to work a s the first dedicated staff member for MPFT's charity. The postholder will have a unique opportunity to establish a strong foundation for the charity's growth, raise its profile within and beyond the Trust, and maximise the impact of donations on frontline services.



The Charity Fundraising & Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in driving forward MPFT's charitable activities, with a focus on proactive fundraising, enhancing engagement, and delivering meaningful impact through the Trust's charity. Accountable to the Assistant Director of Communications, the postholder will develop and implement a comprehensive charity engagement and fundraising strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness, support, and income. This role will also ensure that all charitable activities align with the Trust's overarching goals of improving outcomes for patients, their families, and staff.

Developing and implementing a charity engagement and fundraising strategy. Ensuring the charities activities align with the wider communications strategy and the wider Trust objectives. Proactively developing the charity's brand. Working with a range of stakeholders to publicise the charity and how they can get involved. Developing marketing material for the charity (print and digital). Establishing and delivering charity events which will build the profile of the charity. Proactively demonstrate the impact of donations on frontline services. Establish fundraising opportunities and ways for people to get involved with the aim of driving up the donations. Act as a single point of contact for the charity within the communications team. Lead on charity fundraising opportunities on behalf of the Trust. * Report progress back into the Charity Committee.
