An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and focused individual to join our excellent charity team at Velindre as a Fundraising Support Officer.
The post holder will be an integral part of the Fundraising Team providing comprehensive administrative and financial support to internal and external fundraisers.
Accepting, recording and receipting donations made to the charity is a fundamental part of the role. The post holder will also be responsible for uploading financial reports from numerous sources to the fundraising database as well as downloading income reports to assist the fundraising team with recording event income, generating event income reports and dealing with enquiries from fundraisers online, by telephone and in person.
The Velindre Fundraising Support Officer will be a key member of the Velindre Fundraising Team responsible for inputting donations and donor information onto the Fundraising Database received from various sources such as in person, over the phone, direct to the bank and online, and generating acknowledgments.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fundraising team ensuring all administrative duties are carried out in a timely manner.
Accurately enter all donor information onto the Fundraising database.
Ensure that acknowledgement letters conform to Customer Care timeframes.
Provide financial support including monitoring and creating income reports for events and activities
Be familiar with all fundraising and financial administrative procedures, including taking donations over the phone and online.
Support fundraisers utilising the Participants Fundraising Database - ensure each participant is allocated to a fundraiser, their details are accurately recorded
on the database and a donor ID number generated.
Support fundraisers on a range of events when required with financial and administration support
