Job Description
Volunteers required to assist in our charity shop in Parkstone.
Monday - Saturday
Help required to assist with the till, sorting donations, window displays etc
To provide assistance in the shop as instructed by the shop manager or assistant shop manager
To decode clothes as instructed by the shop manager / assistant shop manager
To stock refill as instructed by the shop manager / assistant shop manager
Welcome and assist customers in the shop
Serve at the till
Promote gift aid
Assist with window displays as instructed by the shop manager / assistant shop manager
To adhere to the policies and practices of Age UK Bournemouth, Poole & East Dorset
To report any suspected thefts in the shop to the shop manager or assistant shop manager
To help keep the shop clean and tidy
To attend Induction training for new volunteers
A liking for and empathy with older people
Reliability and trustworthiness
A friendly and cheerful manner
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Volunteer
Pay: 0.01 per year

Day shift
