Anderselite are working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who are seeking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career working on a diverse range of national and local commissions across multiple sectors.
The Role


You will be involved in delivering building surveying services on projects ranging from small-scale refurbishments to large new build and redevelopment schemes, with values from 50k to 30m+. The role offers a varied workload across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, retail, and public estates, alongside opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior team members.


Key Responsibilities


Undertaking building and condition surveys and preparing reports. Advising on design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of residential, commercial and educational properties. Preparing specifications, tender documents, schedules of condition, and contract administration. Carrying out defect analysis, dilapidations, and insurance reinstatement work. Acting as lead consultant and managing multi-disciplinary teams on refurbishment and new build projects. Advising clients on compliance with building regulations and technical standards. Managing party wall matters, notices, and awards. Leading projects through all stages, including client liaison and development. Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior surveyors. Managing quality assurance across deliverables.
Candidate Requirements


MRICS qualified. Strong technical knowledge of building surveying across multiple sectors. Consultancy background with experience managing client relationships. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of leading projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. Experience mentoring junior colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
