About the role:
As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will deliver high calibre, long-term tax and Lifestyle Financial Planning services to Attivo clients. You will build strong, lasting relationships and ensure client needs are met compliantly, efficiently, and with the highest level of professionalism. You will identify and maximise new business opportunities while helping us retain and grow our client base.
You will act as an ambassador for Attivo, consistently reflecting our core values and company behaviours, and raising the profile of the business and the profession with both internal and external stakeholders.
We fully support hybrid working, with established working from home and flexible working policies. You can expect a blend of time in the office, time at home and travel within your local area to meet clients.
This role involves managing an existing client bank, so demonstrable experience of delivering high quality, independent advice is essential.
We have offices across the UK including London, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Liverpool, Darlington, Harrogate, Newbury, Fareham and Grangemouth. We are specifically looking for candidates based in the Grangemouth area and surrounding regions.
About you:
You are an experienced Chartered Financial Planner with a proven record of delivering exceptional service and developing deep, trusted client relationships. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to engage confidently with clients and ensure their expectations are consistently met.
You are highly organised, able to manage a busy caseload and respond to client needs effectively and efficiently. You work well under pressure, demonstrate sound judgement and maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.
You hold the Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and have previously attained CAS status.
Key Responsibilities include:
Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances and future aims, aligning with Lifestyle Financial Planning principles.
Ensure adherence to compliance procedures to safeguard the company by meeting all regulatory aspects of the role.
Develop your product, technical and regulatory knowledge to stay up to date with the latest financial regulations.
Actively seek opportunities for client growth through referrals and self-generation.
Adhere to AML requirements and deliver suitability reports within prescribed timescales.
Follow through with clients and providers to ensure business is completed in a timely manner.
Escalate any breaches or concerns to a Regional Director or Compliance team member promptly.
Maintain a high standard of file quality.
Maintain continuous professional development records and comprehensive knowledge of pensions, investments, and estate planning.
Essential skills and experience
Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII.
Proven track record of providing high levels of service and advice.
Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills
Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills
Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods
Professional, ethical and discreet
Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Desirable skills and experience
Chartered Fellow status with the CII

Salary and benefits
up to 80,000 depending on experience and qualification, plus a 6,000 car allowance and discretionary bonus.
