We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. A strong foundation in civil engineering principles, combined with proficiency in CAD and system design, is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed structural designs and calculations using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, and Revit.
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and reports for construction projects.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Utilise project management tools to coordinate tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Perform system design analysis for various structural components, ensuring safety, durability, and sustainability standards are achieved.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field recognised by relevant professional bodies.
Proven experience in structural engineering design and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD software.
Strong knowledge of system design principles and construction processes.
Experience with Mathcad for complex calculations is desirable.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
