. This role gives children the opportunity to build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills through fun cheer routines and movement-based activities in a supportive environment.
The club runs
weekly, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in cheerleading activities and routines.
Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate sessions that develop coordination, rhythm, teamwork, and confidence.
Encourage enthusiasm, self-expression, and enjoyment through movement and performance.
Maintain clear communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's progress.
Ensure the activity space and any equipment are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or related movement activities to children.
Ability to motivate and engage young learners in a structured yet enjoyable environment.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
A background in cheer, dance, gymnastics, sports coaching, or performing arts is desirable.
