Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading and /or A Gymnastics/tumble Coach to inspire and develop young athletes in our community at Cirencester Elite Cheer and Dance Academy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to motivate teams, foster teamwork, and promote a positive sporting environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to youth development through cheer and gymnastics, encouraging confidence, discipline, and athleticism among participants.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to various skill levels Teach routines consisting of all or some, stunts, jumps, Dance, tumbling and gymnastic techniques with safety as a priority Provide constructive feedback to athletes to improve their skills and confidence Promote team spirit, sportsmanship, and positive attitude among all team members Monitor athlete progress and development Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and organisational policies Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from diverse age groups and abilities

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or cheerleading instruction is preferred. Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate young athletes Knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunts, tumbling, and safety protocols is highly desirable Previous experience working with youth or in organised sports environments is advantageous A recognised coaching qualification or relevant training would be desired or willing ness to gain a qualification whilst teaching.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 12.25-25.00 per hour
