Rodda's is opening a brand-new, purpose-built cottage cheese facility - and we're looking for exceptional leaders to run it. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a new production line, shape your team and play a leading role in launching a category-defining new product for a long standing, market leading brand.
This Shift Manager position comes with full responsibility for people, safety, performance and product quality. You'll be the most senior manager on site during out-of-hours periods, trusted to make decisions that safeguard our standards and keep production running smoothly.
What the role involves ...
You will lead a production team through the entire cottage cheese manufacturing process, ensuring tight control of key parameters such as temperature, pH, curd size, mix ratios and hygiene standards. You'll oversee start-ups, in-process checks, calibrations and real-time decision-making to keep the process fully compliant with HACCP, audit-ready and achieving daily performance, yield and efficiency targets.
As a leader you'll be held accountable for motivating, coaching and engaging your team as well as for absence management, skills development and performance improvement. You will champion Rodda's values, set standards on the shift, drive continuous improvement, and work collaboratively with Technical, Engineering and Planning teams to deliver a consistently exceptional product.

Strong leadership experience in high speed food manufacturing or a comparable high-risk, high-compliance environment.

A technically capable operator who understands process control, food safety, and quality systems.
