About the role:

The Quality Shift Manager oversees all quality assurance activities during their assigned shift to ensure that products meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for leading the quality team, monitoring production processes, resolving quality issues in real time, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shift.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Shift lead for food safety, quality, legal compliance and authenticity within the Scunthorpe operation. Working alongside the Shift Operations Manager to deliver the business plan. Facilitate in conjunction with the Shift Operations Managers the application of the Food Safety (HACCP including Pre-requisite plan) and QMS system across the factory operation. Lead the QA's on shift to ensure the requirements of the technical system are maintained. Support the factory teams with the adoption of GMP standards, embedding the requirements within the teams and guiding improvements where required. HACCP core team members and contributor. Key attendee/auditee with Customer, 3rd and 2nd party audits. Identification of OOS trends, reviewing root causes and leading the corrective actions with the site teams. Facilitate the development of a food safety culture on shift, establishing clear plan to improve across the shift. Contributor to the site Food defence program. Support the raw materials intake process within Scunthorpe working closely with the Supplier Assurance Manager and their team. Work cross functionally with all key stakeholders to deliver the technical plan. To facilitate the flow of information during events which require crisis management.

Those wishing to apply must possess the following:

Extensive QA or Technical experience 5 years+ Food safety, HACCP qualifications Understanding of Food safety principles in a high risk/care environment. Exposure to various product areas and processes. IT literate, Excel, Word, Power Point Experience in changing culture

Pay: Up to 42,840.00 per year
