Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at The King William IV. In this role, you will be responsible for your section of kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of safety and taste. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our pub's reputation. You will also lead our outside catering department in creating customer buffets and delivering them. It is essential that you are flexible to be able to work around customer buffet arrangements & times.
Responsibilities
You are respectful of other team members
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu.
Help to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and food safety standards.
Develop new menu items and specials to attract customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
Ensure food preparation and presentation are of quality standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service.
Lead outside catering operations and events
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or pub setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and safety regulations.
