Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of ingredients. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Experience in managing kitchen staff and fostering a positive team environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-20.00 per hour
