Are you passionate about food and looking to start a career in a fast paced kitchen? We're offering TWO exciting Catering Apprenticeship opportunities across our Tong and Tingley sites. This is your chance to learn on the job, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and become part of a friendly, supportive team.


Whether you've just left school or are ready for a new direction, this apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to build a career in catering.


What You'll Be Doing:


You'll be supported to learn and develop hands on skills as part of a busy kitchen team, including:

Preparing and serving high quality dishes as part of a wider menu. Assisting with food prep, service, cleaning, and hygiene routines. Learning about food safety, allergens, portion control, and kitchen best practices. Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Working alongside experienced chefs to build confidence and competence in a commercial kitchen.

What You'll Learn:


This apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Heart of Yorkshire, and includes both practical learning and classroom study, covering:

Food preparation and cooking techniques Food hygiene and safety standards Menu development and presentation Working effectively in a kitchen team Stock control and minimising waste

You'll be studying towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship, while gaining real experience every day.


We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has a passion for food and a strong work ethic Is willing to learn and take on feedback Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly Can work in a fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure Ideally has some kitchen or hospitality experience (but not essential)
