Chef Assistant and Cashier
Greeting customers, taking orders, and offering advice or recommendations
Operating the cash register, scanner, scale, or the restaurant's computer system
Processing cash and credit/debit card payments and giving receipts
Ensuring correct meal prices, billing, and change
Maintaining a high level of customer service and resolving any issues or complaints
Assisting the chef in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping, and peeling food ingredients.
Cleaning and sanitizing the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards.
Washing, disinfecting, and properly storing all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes.
Assisting in the preparation of ingredients for foods, beverages, and cocktails; testing new dishes and planning menus.
Removing rubbish, washing bins, and disinfecting the entire kitchen to meet health and safety standards.
Maintaining the kitchen inventory, buying and storing ingredients, and clearing the refrigerators.
