We are looking for a passionate and motivated
Chef Assistant
to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow. You'll support the kitchen with food preparation, cleaning, and dishwashing, gaining valuable experience and learning directly from our chefs in a fast-paced, professional environment.Main Duties:
Assist with food prep (washing, chopping, cooking, portioning ingredients) Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and equipment promptly and thoroughly Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times Take out rubbish and assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties Help with plating and presentation when needed Follow food hygiene and safety procedures Take instructions and support the chefs and team during service Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Requirements:
Team player with a positive attitude Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends Previous experience is helpful but not essential - full training provided Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
