As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that reflect our restaurant's vision while leading and managing the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items that enhance the dining experience. Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are in good working order. Assist in planning special events or catering services as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Experience in menu planning and food preparation is highly desirable. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is essential. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
